Dalal Street investors were caught in a tug of war between the bulls and the bears, with the latter having an upper hand by the end of the trade. The domestic benchmark indices settled the highly volatile session lower amid the evolving geopolitical situation. Banks and metal stocks were under pressure, whereas realty, pharma and auto names gave much-needed support to the indices.
