  • Signs of indecisiveness are purely visible in the market. But as we discussed yesterday the market was reacted to corporate results negatively. 
  • Breaking 15,780 levels may trigger more profit booking in the market. A bullish sign is only above 15,900.
  • Global cues are slightly negative. As last days watch for IT sector to give a move.
  • Open interest shows a negative bias in the market. So 15,600 - 15,900 will be the range for coming expiry too. The cues indicate more negative movement.
  • A sharp rise in oil price is also accounted for the negative bias in the market.

  • AXIS BANK Q1: Net Profit Down 19 % to Rs 2160 cr (QOQ), 97 % Up YOY. NII up 2.5 % To Rs 7757 cr (QOQ), Up 11 % YOY
  • Tata motors Q1: Net Loss of 4450cr v Rs 7605 cr (QOQ), Rs 8437 cr loss YOY. Revenue down 25 % To Rs 65,555 cr (QOQ), Up 205 % YOY
  • Tata Motors said that the capacity shortage for semi-conductor production was structural and the company is expecting the supply stress to continue into the second quarter.
  • Indiabulls Housing: Societe Generale has sold 33.3 lakh shares, representing 0.72% stake, of Indiabulls Housing Finance at Rs 289.33 a share, through a bulk deal on NSE.
  • Voltas & Tata Power: Voltas has tied up with Tata Power Delhi Distribution to launch a scheme offering a 40% discount on energy-efficient air-conditioners to its customers.
